It's Summer 2013 in Kathmandu

After many years of enjoying Summer in Philippines exploring new beaches and enjoying(snorkling, swimmng etc) popular beaches, I am here in Kathmandu back in my country this time.
The climate here is hotter too as of today, the temperature at the day time is up to 31 degree centigrade which is quite higher comparing to few years back as  I remember .It's all the effect of what they called "Climate Change."
Anyways, still inside the house we don't need fan as it's cooler inside and the wind too.Mainly in my area where there are lots of trees and water sources,it's cooler.Because of the wet land areas and the river near by there are varieties of birds we can see around here including beautiful King Fisher.
From early in the morning till the dark we can  hear the Summer bird "Koheli" singing Ku hu Ku Hu or cook ku Cook ku and also can hear other birds singing as well.
So,for a  nature lover like me this place is joyful.I have realized if there were no trees around here this wouldn't be possible as it is the good source of water.
I have spent past two months morning and evening time taking care of the small plants around the jungle which were planted by the people from Local Church I guess or they were the main part in this. But now I notice no one is there taking care of these plants.Plants are drying and some are pulled off already. Some big pine trees are also cut down. So,thirty minutes of my time in the morning exercise was to pull off the extra unwanted plants and dig around the small plants or tree (planted a year back i guess) , surround them with stones and sticks.
While I am doing  this,my Australian Shepherd dog is shouting at me as I tied him in one place for long time while I was doing this haha :)).Another time I will write about my dog. :)
To my surprise after two days of raining ,I saw some new green leaves around half of the plants. It was a joyful moment for me . Little things makes me happy.I pray that they will grow well and also other plants will survive this summer.I also hope that people will realize the importance of these trees and clean environment around as I see lot of trashes plastics thrown around. Some of the water sources are drying slowly which the local use for drinking and daily washing. If locals don't realize this there will be no more water left for them and those birds will slowly disappear as well.
